Job description
As a test engineer you are member of testing team in Helsinki. The position requires an active and motivated attitude to drive things forward, helping to identify problems and find efficiently solutions aiming high quality products for mission and business critical telecommunication systems. You will work closely with different Testing Engineers, Software Developers, Architects etc. The tasks you perform are challenging and varying but very interesting.
Qualifications and experience:
- BSc or MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
- Fluent spoken and written English skills.
- Job location Helsinki: partly remote but mainly on customer site.
Technology capabilities and skills:
- AlmaLinux9 and KVM based virtualization using QEMU, OpenvSwitch, GlusterFS, Libvirt and/or RHEL9 based Linux and KVM based virtualization.
- Containerization (k8s, podman, docker).
- Infractructure as Code using Ansible, Bash scripting, Python and version control tools, e.g. GIT.
- Security mindset, both technical and physical.
- CI/CD with Jenkins.
- IP networking.
- Documentation using collaboration tools.
- Agile development.
- Competence on Integration and Verification Process, testing methods, manually and automated.
- Knowledge of Robot Framework is considered as advantage.
